As the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to the “III. Health Sciences Student Congress (SAGOK 2024),” which will be held on November 21-22, 2024, hosted by Izmir Bakircay University and organized in collaboration with Izmir Bakircay University, Izmir Democracy University, and Izmir Katip Celebi University.

Interdisciplinary collaboration is of great importance for the technological and scientific advancement of countries. Especially today, where studies and technological developments in the field of health are of utmost significance, the main objectives of the “III. Health Sciences Student Congress (SAGOK 2024)” are to create a scientific platform where professionals and undergraduate/graduate students in the field of health sciences can come together to share knowledge and to support collaborative projects developed with a multidisciplinary perspective.

Hosted by the Graduate School of Izmir Bakircay University, the theme of our congress, “The Vision of Health in the Second Century on the 100th Anniversary of the Republic,” aims to update the knowledge of professionals and students in the field of health sciences and to contribute to the formation of a vision for the second century of health through the development of cooperation between stakeholders.

The congress is international and the congress language is Turkish and English. Oral presentations will take place within the scope of the congress. Details of the scientific program will be published on our website after November 15, 2024.

The submitted papers will be reviewed by at least two experts in the field through a double-blind peer review process. Based on the reviewers' comments and decisions, the papers will either be accepted, rejected, or sent back for revisions. The decision will be communicated to the corresponding author via email.

Accepted papers will be published in the congress proceedings book, either as an abstract or a full-text paper, depending on the preference of the researchers. Moreover, selected full-text papers may be published in prestigious journals indexed in national/international databases, subject to a peer-review process.
